Hello Members,
At the beginning of June we held a social event in lieu of our usual speaker, the cream tea seemed to be enjoyed by all the people I have spoken to, and the spread was fantastic, all freshly baked by members of the committee so a big thank you to all of those involved. The committee did have a side wager on how many people would put the cream on first, rather than the jam!
Currently we are in the process of planning our u3a stall at the Burnham Carnival (Saturday 27th September). Many of you will remember how successful this was last year, if any of you have some free time (just a couple of hours) to help the stall please contact Jo Gray, the Carnival is a great way to spread the word about our u3a community.
