Happy New Year to you all, and I hope you had a great Christmas.

I would like to personally thank all the committee and others that helped to organise and put on our Christmas social event on 1st December. It was much appreciated and I think it went well. The refreshments went down very nicely - thanks for your hard work, Ann Cole and Dorothy Leighton! You worked so hard to keep the refreshments flowing.

I would also like to say how sorry we were that a lot of members left early due to getting too cold. We have discussed this with the Village Hall bookings officer, who has agreed to set the heating a couple of notches higher for our next meetings, and has also given us a number to call if we feel the heating needs to be increased on the day. Hopefully this has been sorted and we hope that it won't put you off attending our January meeting to see Mr. Churchill - hopefully he will be very entertaining.
