Hello members,
Well, we did something a little different for our September meeting - we had Barry Butler, quiz master extraordinaire, come along; and whilst Barry assured me that most of his questions were easy, there were certainly a lot which taxed the old brain box. Judging by all the laughter coming from the various teams there were a lot of comical answers being written down.
The winning team triumphed with I think a score of 27 and took home a fabulous prize of a bar of chocolate each! And of course, they also had the kudos of becoming the reigning "Burnham-on-Crouch u3a Quiz Champions of 2025” but are in fact our only quiz Champions!
Next month we have Dean Lawrence, who is our resident Burnham-on-Crouch Chimney Sweep, but with a very interesting and colourful past (all will become clear in October!)
